Died of wounds, when two companies of the 4th S.A.I. relieved elements of the 2nd S.A.I. in Bernafay Wood. A platoon of the 4th S.A.I. was at the Briqueterie and its A Coy, in action in Trone Wood since the 9th, was relieved on the night of the 10th/11th.
