The 2nd Battalion Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders were in Malaya at the start of WW2 . They fought the invading Japanese forces the length of Malaysia and held the causeway into Singapore
At the fall of Singapore and the surrender of the British forces the whole battalion became prisoners of war.
