Notes
Our research has led us to presume that this man has been added in retrospect to the Cleator & Tumpet Terrace Village War memorial and that his name has been incorrectly noted as John Bowers . The name John Bowers was added to this memorial sometime after it was first unveiled. It is presumed their was an error with the first name and it should have read James Bowers
