Notes
Reports would indicate Louis was killed in action in the area between the small village of Olland, the small river Dommel and the dense wood of De Vleut. That was some kind of killing zone; more KIA regarding the 15th and 51st. The Germans of the 59th Division hold their positions with fierce resistance, using several farm buildings and woodlands, where there no possibility for tank support for the British.
